Every little girl dreams of having a perfect wedding day. This is something that many young girls start planning for at a very early age. The dress has to be the right shade of white. The colors of the wedding cake and flowers have to be an exact match. A bride to be is extremely picky about the details of her wedding. If it is not important to the bride, chances are that it will not be included in the ceremony or reception.

Do not be afraid. Write down some of your thoughts and let your words flow. Say a few special words that compliment the format of the wedding. Determine if your speech should be formal or informal. You may even want to incorporate a joke, poem, story or a quote. Do whatever makes the moment special for the bride and groom. A wedding day is special to everyone that is involved. Your daughter has asked you to speak at her wedding reception. Whether it is formal or informal, create a mother of the bride speech that your daughter will always remember and cherish.
